This Privacy Policy applies to the Fitness Quest - With My Pet mobile application (iOS and Android) and website, published and operated by Adex Soft Studio ("Adex Soft", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Categories of Information We Process

A. Local On-Device Physical Activity Data

To power your companion's Care Points, Fitness Quest requests permission to access health metrics from your operating system's native subsystem:

• Apple HealthKit (iOS): Step Count (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierStepCount) and Active Energy Burned (HKQuantityTypeIdentifierActiveEnergyBurned).
• Android Health Connect (Android): Steps Record (androidx.health.connect.client.records.StepsRecord) and Total Calories Burned Record (androidx.health.connect.client.records.TotalCaloriesBurnedRecord).

Zero GPS Telemetry: We do not request, read, or process GPS coordinates, real-time location trails, altitude, or route maps. All step and calorie calculations are executed locally on your mobile device.

B. Account & Synchronization Data (Optional Cloud Sync)

If you create an account to back up your companion or connect with friends:

• Account Identifiers: Email address, pseudonymized user display name, and securely salted bcrypt password hash (or Apple/Google OAuth sub token).
• Companion State: Chosen species (e.g. Dog, Cat, Fish), companion name, survival days, care streak, and current Care Points.
• Friend Links: Signed invite codes (SMP-XXXXXX) and accepted friend connections.

3. Purpose and Legal Basis of Processing (GDPR)

Under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), we process your data under the following legal bases:

• Performance of a Contract (Article 6(1)(b)): To deliver the core companion gameplay, calculate daily care points, and manage Plus subscriptions.
• Explicit Consent (Article 6(1)(a) & Article 9(2)(a)): For accessing on-device step counts and workout records via OS permission dialogues. You can withdraw consent at any time in your device Settings.
• Legitimate Interests (Article 6(1)(f)): For anti-abuse detection, blocking harassment, and maintaining application security.

4. Zero Third-Party Advertising & No Data Brokering

We do not monetize through user surveillance. Fitness Quest contains:

• NO third-party advertising SDKs (e.g. Google AdMob, Meta Audience Network).
• NO data brokers or commercial telemetry resale.
• NO biometric facial recognition or fingerprint access.

5. The Little Circle (Friends) & Voluntary Handover

If you connect with friends using private invite codes, they can view only your companion's species, nickname, care percentage, and survival days. They never receive your raw step timestamp intervals, active calorie burn, or device health ledgers. If you initiate a Voluntary Rescue Handover, temporary guardianship is transferred, and your friend's daily care points sustain your pet.

6. Account Deletion & Right to Erasure (Apple 5.1.1 & Google Play)

We believe deleting your account should be as simple as creating one:

• Instant In-App Deletion: Navigate to Settings → Delete Account Permanently. Upon confirmation, your profile, authentication records, companion data, care histories, friend links, and pending invites are immediately and permanently purged in an atomic transaction.
• Client Purge: Your phone immediately wipes the local SQLite database (save_my_pet_cache.db) and clears all JWT security tokens from the Keychain / KeyStore.
• Web Deletion Request: If you uninstalled the app or prefer web-based deletion, submit your request through our dedicated Account & Data Deletion Page. Web requests are processed within 24 to 48 hours in compliance with Google Play Data Safety policies.

7. Children's Privacy

Fitness Quest does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 in certain European jurisdictions). If you believe a child has provided us with personal information without parental consent, please contact privacy@savemypet.app, and we will purge the account immediately.

8. Updates to This Policy

If we update this Privacy Policy, we will post the revised version on this page and update the "Effective Date" above. Substantial updates will be communicated via an in-app notice prior to taking effect.
